PECO building’s Art in the Air

The PECO Crown Lights are a familiar part of the Philadelphia skyline that displays the time and other messages after the sun goes down. Last year PECO and Breadboard held a contest called Art in the Air for local artists to submit their work. Drexel has had work from their motion graphics courses shown before. For the recent contest, senior Peter Eyrich’s work ‘Color Philadelphia’ was chosen and will be on display through early March as part of the “Best of 2011″ series. So make sure to look up after dark for something more aesthetically pleasing than the time.
