		<description>January 15th...seriously? It&#039;s weird that we haven&#039;t received an email from Public Safety and I think it&#039;s even more inconsiderate that a handful of Drexel students don&#039;t care one bit about their classmate&#039;s almost-fatal injury. 

It should be noted though that Columbine and Virginia Tech were both really publicized...to the extent that both received mass media coverage for days. Maybe, this apathy that you sensed was due to the lack of attention? Perhaps, if it had been publically made known, then more people would know and hence, more people would care. Unfortunately, I guess that such an occurrence first requires media frenzy in order to evoke any sort of empathy/sympathy from most people.</description>
